New Susquehanna, 2009, 16mm, 23 minutes
We made this student film in college, after we won the David R. Ames award, a grant for $10,000. It was shot over the course of one week on an Aaton XTR (super 16mm, transferred to HD) in upstate New York.
Andrew Patrick Nelson plays an American trucker who returns to his home town and reconnects with his aging father (Michael Graves) and his high school sweetheart (Mar Riehl). They have all seen better days.
Cinematography was by Joshua Bushueff. It was produced by Zack Redmond, and written & directed by Haldane McFall.
